Pelosi bows down to Socialist Democrats who want more infrastructure funds: Representative Malliotakis
Representative Nicole Malliotakis, RN.Y., criticized House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for “bowing down” to the political wishes of the Socialist Democrats. Malliotakis’ comments come as the Congressional Budget Office reports the infrastructure package could add $ 256 billion to the federal deficit, as Democrats seek an infrastructure reconciliation bill.
REPRESENTING. NICOLE MALLIOTAKIS: It’s interesting because a bipartisan group put it in place, but it’s probably the best we can get considering what might happen to him when he gets to the House of Representatives.
Nancy Pelosi says that on top of that, she wants to block $ 3.5 trillion in spending on socialism. And this is going to be a major, major problem for all of us.
Democrats are in control right now, so Republicans don’t have as much influence as people might think. If at least we take the house back next year, we will have more capacity to have more checks and balances.
But I agree with you. I mean, I think it could be a better bill. And certainly, we shouldn’t bow down to the socialists, like Nancy Pelosi is doing right now.
