Launch of the Mission Corps Institute
WOODSIDE, California and NEWTOWN, Pennsylvania, and GLASGOW, United Kingdom, June 5, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Today the Mission Corps Institute, the world’s premier think tank and research center on contemporary capitalism, is launched. The Mission Corps Institute was born from the ideas and principles of the bestselling book by Michael moe and Michael M. Carter titled “The Mission Corporation”. The Institute was founded by Michael moe and Michael M. Carter and is headed by the Executive Director Caroline Moe Hoch.
The Mission Corps Institute will announce its first fellows and publish its first research study on the performance of mission-oriented, entrepreneur-led companies versus companies without a mission. The Institute seeks to be the primary resource for entrepreneurs, investors and governments seeking to create, invest and sponsor businesses and policies that will contribute to the future development and direction of contemporary capitalism in the future.
Michael moe said, “The Mission Corps Institute is an idea whose time has come, as it helps celebrate the role of entrepreneurship and the benefits of purpose-driven businesses for society and the world. Entrepreneurs make things right, and capitalism will be and can be repaired by entrepreneurs in the future. We believe that the Mission Corps Institute will be an important ally for entrepreneurs and society. “
Michael M. Carter added: “At this critical moment in history when capitalism has been vilified, Michael and I want to build on the success of our book’s thesis by creating a living organization that embodies what we want to build and present: this capitalism who is mission based and led by entrepreneurs can change the world for the better. Governments should want to foster a capitalism that matches this new paradigm whose time has come to incentivize entrepreneurs through policies.
