It’s time to abandon “internal capitalism”
Lately I’ve been thinking how much I hate capitalism. No, not the type to get you out of bed to earn a salary. Hate what is as useful as hate the rain.
I think of the capitalism that we internalize when we evaluate our lives, the one that makes us ask this question: what have you accomplished? This can be a useful query if it’s your day to clean the cat box, but looking at a lifetime, it’s poison. Because in this kind of capitalism of life, the only answer that is impossible to give is this: enough is enough.
