Ingraham: BLM Won’t Lose Sleep Over Rising Crime While Profiting From Tragedy

Groups like Black Lives Matter are doing little to address the current rise in crime rates in the United States, “The Ingraham Angle” host Laura Ingraham said on Tuesday.
Ingraham explained that “far-left anti-police vendettas” endanger those they claim to care about, including in publicly barricaded areas like the George Floyd Memorial area in Minnesota.
“Black Lives Matter and other organizations that are profiting from the tragedy – they’re not losing sleep over it all,” she said. “Are they holding a press conference to encourage communities to take personal responsibility for the young men without fatherhood who commit most crimes against other minorities? Of course not. Keeping the political theater running to get concessions is what always matters most.
As conditions in Minneapolis are continually dangerous, Ingraham said Representative Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., Aims to “pull the wire faster” after writing letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland urging him to expand his investigation Federal Police to Minneapolis.

“[T]he murder of Mr. Floyd is not unique – it is a model among many law enforcement agencies in Minnesota, ”Omar wrote.
“Omar, and the 19 other left-wing officials who co-signed this letter, are bald-faced liars,” Ingraham responded. “If you want to know who should be removed from office, it’s each person who signed this letter.”
Ingraham argued that as long as our government and our representatives push rhetoric that our nation is systematically racist, violence will continue to rage.

“It’s so destructive and it’s so sad – especially for small minority-owned businesses and families who are just trying to get by and stay safe,” she said. “They don’t want things to be vandalized, they don’t want things to be looted. They want things to improve.”
“There are signs that some common sense Democrats are seeing that they are on the losing side of this issue. Public safety shouldn’t be political. This is essential.”
