Game of Thrones’ Kit Harington in new BBC drama Guy Fawkes

According to Variety, the new series is in development under the working title Gunpowder. It will focus on the infamous Guy Fawkes – he was ‘burned every year’ in November – and the attempt to blow up the Houses of Parliament in 1605.
The series will consist of three-hour episodes and will be produced by production company Kudos and Harington’s Thriker Films.
Although it has not been confirmed by the stars, the Beeb or the production company, Harington has confessed his desire to work more on television in the future. He told the Guardian:
“I would love to come back on a premium TV show because that’s where the storytelling is the most exciting and the most dangerous right now.
Also, I wrote three TV shows with my best friend Dan West, two of which we sold, so I would love to see myself produce. I met Dan in drama school – we live together and write together. It’s like a sexless marriage. “
Additionally, the actor has a personal connection to the gunpowder plot – he’s linked to Robert Catesby, one of the plotters involved.
