Salem (Tamil Nadu) [India], June 12 (ANI): While the Communists and Mamata Banerjee may not agree in West Bengal, but in the district of Salem in Tamil Nadu, the two are on the same wavelength. On a wedding invitation, that is.
Groom Socialism is expected to marry bride Mamatha Banerjee on June 13, according to the wedding invitation card, which has gone viral on social media. Communism and Leninism, the brothers of the groom will be present, specifies the guest.
To top it off, Marxism, Salem-based grandson of A Mohan and father of the groom will also be present at tomorrow’s reception.
It is indeed a true story!
Although the family expects the wedding to be small, the viral invitation has prompted many more netizens to bless the couple, whose phone numbers were printed on the invitation.
Mohan, currently district secretary of the Communist Party of India (CPI) in Salem, named his three sons after ideologies. Socialism is its youngest, while communism is the oldest.
The family of the bride, who is a strong supporter of Congess, is related to Mohan and is from the same village.
The bride was named after the current West Bengal Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee, who started her political sleeves with the Congress Party and now heads the Trinamool Congress.
CPI Tamil Nadu Secretary of State R Mutharasan is expected to attend the wedding of Socialism and Mamatha Bannerjee tomorrow at Amali, Kondampatti Kattoor in Salem. (ANI)
